The Worlds of Milosh: Grid City

I [we!] thoroughly enjoyed this performance even though it is not exactly what i thought it was going to be like when they said it was a ‘musical’ in the Utrechts Nieuwsblad…[They said it was ‘Matrix-the Musical” in their review].
Actually, the way they presented the mix of film-documentary and animation on three screens, the mesmerizing images and the conviction of the ‘story-teller’, ‘Pomoznik’ pretty much hypnotized everyone. The 5-piece ‘orchestra’ behind the 2nd screen was phenomenal.
My only criticism is that the story left us with no ‘ending’ and without a sense of understanding the ‘moral of the story’ in the classic sense.
Even with that I have to say that The Worlds of Milosh II is the freshest, most provocative take on the ‘stranger in a strange land’ theme I have seen in a while and I am only sorry we saw it on the last night because it was worth seeing twice!
